We want to deliver outstanding service to our clients, have a relentless focus on quality and be amongst the very best firms in the UK in all we do. But how do we demonstrate this, how do we show we put our client’s interests first, how do we prove we always act with the utmost professionalism and that we have a culture where we strive for continuous improvement?

By opening our business and our processes to independent scrutiny, to ensure we can meet the very highest standards set within our industry.

Our accreditations

  • We are one of a very small proportion of financial planning firms in the UK to demonstrate the endeavour and commitment necessary to qualify for Chartered status. Chartered status is a symbol of technical competence and demonstrates a firm is at the forefront of its profession and serves as a mark of trust.

Chartered status also involves a commitment to continuing professional development and an adherence to an industry-standard Code of Ethics. It means you can be confident you are dealing with a firm that is going beyond minimum requirements when giving financial advice. Find out more

  • In 2019 we became members of CEFEX, and we are certified for Investment Advisor Fiduciary Excellence, placing us globally amongst an elite group of firms, with only a handful of firms achieving this certification in the UK.
This certification looks at how we run our business, how we run money and ensures we have the right systems, processes, and controls in place. Having a clear investment philosophy with robust processes that are embedded across our entire business.

As a fiduciary (the highest legal duty of one party to another), we are bound ethically to act in our clients best interests. An investment fiduciary is responsible for the management of the assets of others and is therefore in a special position of confidence, reliance, and trust.

  • “An international network of independently owned investment advisory firms, whose overriding commitment to fiduciary excellence ensures they always put their clients’ interests first.”

Membership of GAIA is strictly limited to fee-based wealth advisers who are not aligned with financial institutions.
GAIA’s fiduciary standards rise well above the limited performance reporting requirements governing today’s investment management industry.

GAIA standards encompass all aspects of client relationships, from the development of their financial and investment plans and written investment policy statements to the review and evaluation of their investment portfolios. This includes the ongoing guidance and monitoring of each step of our financial journey.

  • We are Cyber Essentials certified. Cyber Essentials is an effective, Government back scheme that helps protect organisations, whatever its size, form a whole range of the most common cyber-attacks.

The certification is designed to protect us and our clients from cyber based threats, by ensuring we implement the fundamental security controls which protect against the majority of online threats.

  • There are different types of financial advice you can choose from – independent or restricted. We only offer independent advice, which means our advice is unbiased and unrestricted and based on a comprehensive and fair analysis of the relevant market.

We are constantly reviewing the market to ensure that the services and products we offer are appropriate for you.

  • Dante Peters and Michael Aitken are both Registered Life Planners through the Kinder Institute of Life Planning.

  • We are so delighted to be one of the winners of the ‘Best Financial Adviser to Work for’ award 2023. The award is promoted by Professional Adviser in partnership with Best Companies Group.

To us this award is probably one of the most important we could win, and it makes us so proud because its primarily based on employee feedback in relation to benefits, work/life balance, culture, and communications, plus training and career development, all of which are an absolute focus for us, and we have worked so hard to create a welcoming, collaborative, and supportive culture.

  • Consumer Duty Alliance

    Consumer Duty:
Many people face barriers in pursuing their financial objectives and The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the UK’s regulatory body for financial advisers and financial services firms, wants to see firms deliver a higher standard of client care and protection, and to go further to equip people to make effective decisions, putting their clients’ best interests at the heart of their business, offering products and services that are fit for purpose and represent fair value.

    The Consumer Duty Alliance:
We are members of the Consumer Duty Alliance, a not-for-profit, independent membership body. Its purpose is to inspire greater confidence and trust in financial advice and financial planning by supporting the delivery of consistently good outcomes, so firms are seen alongside other professional services as a ‘safe pair of hands’

    Members of the Alliance:

    • Embrace FCA rules and view the new rules as an opportunity to raise the standing of the financial planning and advice profession
    • Have made a commitment to an independent Code of Professional standards as a way of demonstrating their commitment to deliver on their obligations and responsibilities to you
