Mike Aitken presented on Communication in Families at the Family Business Network Next Gen International Summit in Talberg, Sweden.

The 2 sessions Mike delivered were highly engaging, energetic workshops with 40 of the heirs of some of the wealthiest families in the world.

The sessions were a major departure for FBN where the normal presentations are PowerPoint presentations of facts and figures. This is a highly prestigious event to be asked to speak at and Mike went down a storm.

Fran comes to Magus from a national employee benefits advisory business. We are delighted to announce that Nigel Bollig has joined Magus. Nigel has been advising clients for over 30 years and brings a wealth of experience with him.

Nigel also holds an engineering degree and previously worked in the cosmetics manufacturing industry. This lead to the realisation that:

“I enjoy working face to face with people, much more than making products. However, the scientific background still comes in handy for the highly numerical side of the job”.

Nigel enjoys building life-long relationships with clients and giving them confidence that, through Magus, they will be looked after in the years ahead. Welcome Nigel. See Nigel’s profile

Harry Ford will join Magus in 2016, having worked in financial services for over 40 years, during which time he has seen and been part of huge change. Harry was one of the inaugural Chartered Financial Planners and until recently ran his own advice company.

Harry’s role has been to guide and advise clients from a wide spectrum of backgrounds, working very closely with other trusted professional firms.

Harry likes to keep what can be a very complex world as straightforward as possible. This is especially true when speaking with clients who generally want to know how best to get from A to B of their journey. See Harry’s profile

We are so proud to announce the great achievement of Jamie becoming a Chartered member of the CII and Fellow at the same time. This is a monumental task requiring 18 exams to get to this pinnacle of academic achievement. Awesome Jamie! See Jamies’s profile

Jamie has completed his journey to become a financial planner. Having become chartered and a fellow of the institute this makes the next and most significant part of Jamie’s career to date.

We knew from the day he joined Magus he was made of the right stuff to become an adviser and he has proved us right. Nice! See Jamie’s profile
