Jamie joined Magus in February 2013 as a Client Support Manager, having started his financial services career in 2007. Since then he has taken his professional training further and qualified as a Chartered Financial Planner in December 2015. He also graduated as a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society in April 2016.
Jamie strongly believes it is really important to listen to his clients to find out what’s important to them, and to build an open working relationship together. He most enjoys helping clients make sense of their financial situation, thus enabling them to realise their personal ambitions:
“The financial world can be a confusing place and I take pride in giving clients the confidence to pursue the things they want to in life”.
Jamie sees one of Magus’ strengths as the wider team of people that underpins the Financial Planners themselves:
“The planning process is definitely not a one-person operation at Magus. We have a fantastic technical and administration team allowing us to provide a tailored service based on the different personal needs and aspirations of our individual clients”.
When not at work, Jamie enjoys playing golf, cycling and reading. However, these pursuits come second behind spending time with his wife and three children.
